FOPW Scholarships

FOPW Scholarships

The Friends of Poly-Western established the annual Gerald Perrin Memorial Scholarship to recognize a graduating senior from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and a graduating senior from Western High School.  In addition, we award an annual scholarship to a graduating senior from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and a graduating senior from Western High School in memory of Ms. Robin Kane-Prater.

The awards are designed to support deserving graduates who share a passion for academic excellence, commitment to support Poly and Western, and commitment to community service. Scholarship awardees must exhibit all three of these criteria to be considered for the scholarship.

The scholarship is a non-renewable gift, awarded to the student before he or she matriculates in to their freshman year of college.  The scholarship awards are contingent upon the Friends of Poly-Western scholarship committee receiving verification of the student’s acceptance at his or her College or University.  The scholarship recipients will be recognized at their graduation ceremonies of Poly or Western.
